The Daily Salad
The Daily Salad is a progressive political blog written and published by American student activist, philosopher, and political theorist Mikaylah-Rosalina Framboise. We cover student activism, revolutionary politics, and contemporary social movements from a progressive and human-oriented perspective. We launched in 2025 and RE-launched in early 2026 with a new webpage, articles, and some exciting projects in the works.

¡¡Bonjou Toulémoun!! My name is Mikaylah-Rosalina ("Rose" or "M. R." for short) Framboise, and I am the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Salad. Thank you so much for joining us. I'm a native of Baton Rouge, LA currently studying at Loyola University New Orleans. I'm also a proud student activist in the New Orleans community working with a local chapter of the New Students for a Democratic Society. I've been writing political essays and theoretical ramblings since 2021, but only in 2025 did I decide to build a home for those articles and essays— that being this website, The Daily Salad. This website will also serve as an archive for speeches and talks that I've given either in audio or video format. I currently serve in leadership within my chapter and have been featured in New Orleans' Times-Picayune, local news broadcasts, and even briefly on the Fox News Channel.
